       East Texas Steel Guitar Association is a gathering of people who love the steel guitar and the players. I have developed a web site at www.etsga.org/playersongs.html that features steel guitar players from around the world.  It is a showcase of some mighty fine steel guitar players as well as some who are in the earlier stages of development. I invite you to visit often and hear songs from the past and present. A variety you are sure to enjoy.

It will be my pleasure to introduce once again one of our favorite member players-
Mr. Henry Matthews. Along with Henry will be another favorite player from
Denison, Texas----Mr. Louie Hallford. These 2 players are accomplished from
head to toe and you will certainly enjoy their talent as they play for you.

Henry Matthews comes to us from Texarkana where he is the owner/manager of the Texarkana opry. His talent doesn't stop with the steel guitar-----he is also an accomplished fiddle player. It will be great to have him again with us.

Louie Hallford is known by just about everybody that knows steel guitar. He comes to us from Denison, Texas where he spends most of his time knocking a little white ball all over Grayson County. He even finds some of the now and then. He will show you (and me) his wizardry on his double neck steel guitar. He might even sing a song or two.

   This will mark the return of Mike Phillips from Conroe, Texas
    Randy Herndon, his friend,will also play on that program.

Keep you calender open for this one. Albert Talley and Bobby Dixon
will be here to entertain you. I feel sure you will hear some Patsy
Cline favorites from Albert's better half, Debbie. It has been a
while sinse they have been here so get ready---they might just be
